Howdy! If the quote wasn’t a giveaway, I am Midwesterner who grew up in Texas. I moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern University and later left to attend Georgetown. Along the way, I grew to love the friendly Midwest and decided to return with my college sweetheart to raise a family here.
My passion for teaching started in January 2012, when I was asked to teach comparative politics at Harper College. Because of my excitement for my new field, I went back to school one more time and got my masters in applied teaching. Since 2016, I have also taught secondary education in math, social studies, and special education. In addition to the thrill of building a rapport with my students in the classroom, I love curriculum development and tutoring. There is so much that I have learned in my three degrees, and I would love share this knowledge and skills with you.
